A word from the founder & Director:

"Our journey started in 2010 as QuickFit for women, a bustling, fun fitness club for women on Portland Road.

In 2017 we had to vacate our studio which made us "homeless" and the business was seriously affected.

Moving from one hall to another on a temporary basis didn't suit all our members and many left.  There have been many other challenges along the way but I have never lost my spirit and carried on with my objective to build something good. A core group of loyal, supportive members always remained supportive and together we pushed through the barriers.  And we carry on doing so to this day.

In May 2019 QuickFit for women changed it's name to Vida Active Club  and became a Social Enterprise. From then onwards, not only did the usual fitness classes continue in church halls, community halls, outdoor spaces and from home, but Vida Active also launched it's over 60s club -Vida at 60 Plus -  offering "Exercise & Socialise" sessions for seniors.

I, the founder, managing director and instructor at Vida Active Club CIC am very proud of myself, my instructors, past and present, and all the members, also past and present.

Today, despite the challenges of the Coronavirus pandemic, we have a fantastic fitness club which is dynamic, diverse, fun and supportive. We also have a 60 Plus club that continues to grow and expand, helping as many seniors as possible to remain active and connected."
